Why Work Here?
Employees enjoy a small-shop atmosphere with fewer than 50 colleagues, fostering a strong family-type culture and close-knit teamwork. Management maintains an open-door policy that encourages open communication and regular feedback, helping team members feel heard and supported. The environment values collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement, offering the opportunity to grow skills while contributing meaningfully to the shops success.
Work Environment
The role is based in a custom metal shop with a medium-sized, family-oriented culture. The facility operates with both bay doors open during the winter, and the space is not heated, so employees must be comfortable working in cold weather conditions. The work involves typical fabrication shop activities around welding and metal fabrication equipment, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork in a busy, hands-on environment. Dress appropriately for a metal shop setting and for varying temperatures, with suitable protective clothing and gear.
